THEME: WELCOME INTO HIS PRESENCE
THEME SCRIPTURE: “What joy for those you choose to bring near, those who live in your holy courts.” — Psalm 65:4a (NLT)
PREPARATORY QUESTION
1. Why is it joyful to be in God’s presence?
The Christian life is not merely about avoiding sin or surviving temptation—it’s about fellowship with God. Yet many believers struggle to pray, not because they lack discipline, but because they quietly doubt whether they are truly welcomed in God’s presence.
The psalmist David—once broken by sin, then restored by grace—reminds us that prayer is not a duty, but a privilege. He writes, “Though we are overwhelmed by our sins, You forgive them all” (Psalm 65:3).
David didn’t hide from God. He ran to Him—because he discovered that God’s mercy is greater than our shame.
We, too, must press past our feelings of unworthiness and believe what God has declared: we are forgiven, chosen, and invited. Martin Luther said, “Prayer is not overcoming God’s reluctance, but laying hold of His willingness.” When we seek God through prayer and meditation, we don’t come to twist His arm—we come to discover His heart.
But we must desire Him. As Augustine once said, “God thirsts to be thirsted after, not because He is in need, but because we are in need.”
Our prayer lives grow when we stop seeing God as a distant judge and start trusting Him as a loving Father.
Beloved, if sparrows are never forgotten by Him (Matthew 10:29), how much more does He remember and cherish you? You are invited, every day, into his presence.
Remain blessed.

QUESTION TO HELP YOU MEDITATE ON THE WORD
1. Do I truly believe I am welcomed in God’s presence?
2. What false ideas about God may be keeping me from consistent prayer?
3. How can I improve my conscious connection with Him today?
PRAYER
Father, thank You for choosing to draw me near. Even when I feel unworthy, remind me that Your mercy covers me. Teach me to seek You, not out of guilt or fear, but out of love and trust. I receive your help to grow in joyful fellowship with You—today and every day, in Jesus' precious name. Hallelujah!
