TOPIC: LIVING THE VISION WITH EXCELLENCE

THEME SCRIPTURE: “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much...” — Luke 16:10 (NIV)

PREPARATORY QUESTIONS:

  1. How must we run with the vision of God?

Great vision is not fulfilled by grand moments alone, but by faithful consistency in small, often unseen acts of obedience. Jesus emphasized this principle when He taught that being trustworthy with little is the pathway to being entrusted with much.

We often dream of doing great things for God, yet overlook the spiritual weight of small things—how we serve, how we speak, how we show up when no one notices. But God notices. As Francis of Assisi said, “Start by doing what is necessary; then do what is possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.”

Joseph served faithfully in Potiphar’s house and prison before he was trusted with Pharaoh’s kingdom. David honed his courage in the fields tending sheep before he stood before Goliath. Their excellence in small places prepared them for greater assignments.

Faithfulness is not about convenience; it's about commitment. It means showing up with excellence, even when the task feels beneath your calling or unrelated to your vision.

As Paul told the Colossians, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord...” (Colossians 3:23).

God doesn’t waste preparation. Every quiet season, every humble duty, every patient step matters. You may think no one sees, but your Father does—and He rewards faithfulness. Excellence is not perfection—it’s doing your best with what you’ve been given.

Beloved, don’t despise small beginnings. Don't overlook today's assignments because you're dreaming about tomorrow's platform. God often elevates those who have already proven faithful behind the scenes.

Remain blessed!
