TOPIC: GOD’S BANQUET HAS ROOM FOR ALL

THEME SCRIPTURE: "And in this mountain shall the Lord of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined." —Isaiah 25:6

PREPARATORY QUESTION 

1. Do my attitudes and actions reflect God’s heart toward people who are different from me?

God’s vision for His kingdom is far greater than human divisions. Through Isaiah, God reveals a future banquet where people from every nation will gather at His table. This picture challenges every form of prejudice, exclusion, and superiority. God does not measure people by appearance, background, language, culture, or status. He looks at the heart of those who trust and honor Him.

Isaiah declares that God will “swallow up death forever” and “wipe away all tears” (Isaiah 25:8). His salvation is not reserved for a select group; it is an invitation extended to all who turn to Him.

The kingdom of God is not built on competition over who is more important, but on the grace of a God who welcomes people from every corner of the earth.

Human beings often create barriers based on differences—race, nationality, gender, social position, or culture. Yet at God’s banquet table, those divisions have no place. If God welcomes someone, we must learn to welcome them too. Those who belong to Christ are not strangers; they are family.

Including others is not simply an act of kindness—it reflects the character of God. When we choose respect over prejudice, friendship over isolation, and love over judgment, we demonstrate the reality of God’s kingdom today.

Precious one, from today, look beyond differences and see people through God’s eyes. Make room for others, especially those who do not look, speak, or live like you. A heart shaped by God creates space for everyone at the table.

PRAYER 

Father, teach me to see people the way You see them. Remove every attitude that creates distance between me and others. Help me love, respect, and welcome people from every background. May my life reflect the unity and grace of Your kingdom. In Jesus' precious name, Amen.
